The Hills New Beginning Season 2 : Release Date And Everything You Need to Know

The Cast spills on Kristin Cavallari’s coming, hookups, breakups, and infants!

The Hills New Beginning is back for the second season this week — along with the stars guarantee that the show is far better than ever with its return.

Production on Season 2 initially began in ancient 2020, completing three episodes until the coronavirus pandemic shut down them. They did not pick up again before 9 months after — and filming beneath these new protocols came together with challenges, but also ignited some extra play.

“We did lots of filming collectively. So it did spark up a great deal of struggle between the team and we weren’t able to get additional external cast members to arrive in like we were able also,” Brody Jenner informed TooFab before the premiere. “Thus, it had its challenging moments, but it made for some fantastic TV. We had a few great, thick, heavy things in there. And I think that it’s a great deal better than the original season — for certain, a whole lot better.”

Frankie Delgado stated Season 2 feels like a completely”different series” since the Cast had time to get to know one another again following re-bonding during the initial season. He explained the new episodes have”that feeling the very first original hills was used to have” as it would underline the hustle of Lauren Conrad to break into the fashion industry. “Girls got inspired to move to LA since the series,” he explained, hoping Season two recaptures that magical.

The very first teaser for”New Beginnings” finished with a mic fall second: Kristin Cavallari Go Back to the show. While she will not be in existence for each incident, fans were delighted to watch her again in the mix — and shaking things up with ex-Brody.

“I think we adore if Kristin comes about. She is so good at what she does,” Jenner informed TooFab. “She has been doing so for a long time and if she comes in she simply knows how to bring the warmth. She filmed a couple of things but she stirred the pot for certain.”

“If she walked in for the very first time, I had not seen her in a lot of years and she felt like a superstar for me,” additional Frankie. “I forgot we had been like, we are all best friends, so it was fairly brilliant. I recall I Punk’d her back in the afternoon on the series. Once she walked in it had been like it has been a day since I have seen her kind of feeling.”

Even though Brandon Thomas Lee had not met her earlier, he stated Cavallari had been”a small amount of a firecracker” — as Heidi exclaimed, “We adore Kristin!”

“Her energy is amazing and her being with the team — she understands all people,” additional Audrina. “It only brought life since we had been filming just our team during this outbreak. So, to get her to come in it was just like,’ Kristin!’ It was exciting.”

“We have known each other for so long and having any friendship there are ups and downs and I think this Season we kind of came back and met eye to eye and talked things out,” Audrina mentioned of the relationship. “You are going to have to watch and see what happens.”

Carter told TooFab she did lots of Zoom treatment between seasons, working on” kind of rebuilding and figuring out that I am as an individual.” As it came time to restart filming Brody, she had been”much more clear about who I am and it only let me be much more familiar with what I had been saying on camera”

Brody told TooFab that he and Kaitlynn are still”great buddies,” despite their separation generating some severe headlines. “I adore Kaitlynn. We spent six decades together. It was a mutual, excellent breakup. There was no animosity, it was only completely clean. Everything was fantastic,” he included the split itself.

Babies on the Brain?

The trailer teased Heidi and Spencer exploring the potential for expanding their loved ones, something Pratt was not thrilled became a constant subject of conversation when doing press all day.

“They keep getting brought up now,” he informed TooFab. “Heidi is quite sad she isn’t pregnant. I am very sad also before I was not, but it’s starting to turn into — I am sorry I suppose we should have attempted during the pandemic.” Looking at his wife, he added, “I failed you. I am sorry,” before reaching for a few, uh, nutritional supplements.

“I think we are in a fantastic location. I am really happy I was not pregnant ” additional Heidi. “Despite all the series, it has been stressful off and on camera. Thus, I think that it was not the ideal time to become pregnant”

“We’ve got a cast member or two that are pregnant… I am the sort of person that when I had been pregnant I really would not have been involved in the series in any way,” she continued, saying she had been grateful concerning the timing. “But we are trying,” Heidi reasoned, “You will never know, this may be the month, so let us keep trying!”

While MischaBarton was among those big attractions — at least initially — of their very first season, she is MIA when”New Beginnings” returns. Instead, Caroline D’Amore joins the cast and brings another energy to the series compared to her”O.C.” celebrity predecessor.

“I simply don’t think Mischa — she does not come from a fact background. She is more of a scripted celebrity and that I think when she arrived on you understand, she did not know anyone,” said Brody. “A lot of people have grown up together, we have known each other for a very long time and that I think Mischa kinda arrived, did her own thing. I don’t think she tried to or cared to interact with us much. I think she was just kind of doing her own thing. So, finally, I do not think it worked out.”

“Mischa was very entertaining the moment they switched cameras away,” additional Pratt. “So, I feel like this has been her issue. I think off-camera Mischa is a hit series. So, I think Caroline is much more of an on-camera individual, and that is a significant difference. I do not think cameras alter Caroline, if anything that they assist Caroline grows”

Wahler echoed these thoughts, saying that”with this kind of series you need to get this transparency, needing to become open and I think that is something Caroline brings into the series versus Mischa — simply was not the ideal fit.”

Filming During Covid

Generation on this Season was certainly unlike anything any of the cast members had undergone before. While the testing procedure was strict, they were just thrilled to be about other individuals again — and think the new period might be considered as a time capsule of their pandemic era in the long run.

“I think anything to pull us from this funk of COVID. I think being able to do it lawfully, and being able to see our friends again and be like,’ What are you around?’ All of us needed to meet up in the moment,” said Justin.

While Audrina explained the initial shutdown has been”kind of a buzzkill,” she jumped at the opportunity to return to filming. “I was like,’ What are you currently doing?” said Brandon. “I did not understand what it was don’t be such as, but was quite amazing and frankly was surprising and I had a blast.”

“I love the concept that in 20-50 years when folks are coming back to the Hills’ — ideally COVID was not something which happens eternally and it was only this dreadful time — which we are just like a time capsule,” said Spencer. “Just like a contemporary kind history novel, this is exactly what it had been like trying to live during a pandemic.”

“I expect we only must become a part of an extremely dreadful, strange time and created the best of it,” he added.
