The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5

Gilead is a depressing, horrible place to visit, so we’re happy to bring fans of The Handmaid’s Tale some good news for a change – that the series will return for the fifth season!

Before season four premiered, the throw confirmed that the show would be renewed in December 2020. Showrunner Bruce Miller stated, “We’re very thankful to Hulu and MGM for renewing the show for a fifth season, and especially to our loyal fans for their support.”

We are thrilled to have the ability to continue telling these stories with our incredible cast and crew, and we all can’t wait to come back to the airwaves with season four the after year.

Will this, nevertheless, be the final season? Miller admitted that he”does not know ” if season five is going to probably be the final season of the show: “I mean we spoke about it, also [Elisabeth Moss] and I talked about it, and the writing team and I talked about it broadly about where we are going just, but I do feel as though, after this season, it’s a good time to reassess,” Miller said.

Bearing that in mind, we would not be surprised if season five arrives by summertime 2022, or at the very least by fall that year.

Gilead isn’t precisely the safest place to be, and even though June has fled to Canada, which doesn’t mean that each character is suddenly safe from harm.
