Although Soldier Boy was mentioned several times in the season, he has not yet been seen on screen. He was a World War II veteran who earned a reputation for being a patriotic, valiant figure with extraordinary abilities. He is therefore considered to be the “first” superhero, under Vought’s direction. Soldier Boy is a tongue-in-cheek subversion of Marvel’s Captain America in the comics. Although information about Ackles’ character is scarce, images of Ackles in his Soldier Boy costume have been recently released.

Many fans of Supernatural were delighted to see Ackles transition to The Boys. The beloved horror series ended its fifteen-year run in 2020 after being on air for fifteen years.
