The StartUp web series received tremendous support from viewers and was soon ranked high on the Netflix show list. With season 3’s climax in May, viewers were eagerly awaiting the start of season 4 in June 2021.

StartUp reason four won’t be arriving this June. Netflix has just dropped a surprise bomb for its viewers. Netflix announced a list naming the series it will show in June 2021. Netflix, the streaming service king, has not yet officially renewed it.

StartUp Season 4 Release Date

Crackle premiered the third season of ‘StartUp’ on November 1, 2018. All 3 seasons of 10 episodes each were released simultaneously on Netflix on May 4, 2021.

Season 4 has yet not been officially renewed. The show has not been canceled so fans still have hope. However, streaming on Netflix is a significant step in the right direction. As it has in the past, the fate of the tech thriller series might be decided by the reaction of the global Netflix audience to ‘StartUp’.

Netflix’s renewal of shows that originate on other networks is not new and was seen even in the streaming platform’s early days with ‘Arrested Development,‘ which aired its first three seasons on Fox before Netflix licensed new episodes for its platform. ‘Lucifer,’ also from Fox, was picked up by Netflix after being canceled by the network. Jerry Seinfeld’s Crackle show, ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,’ was also transferred to Netflix. With Sony giving up control of Crackle, ‘StartUp’ could likely find itself renewed for a fourth season in its new home.

When we consider the shocking cliffhanger that was the finale to season 3, it is obvious that the show deserves another season. In a recent Instagram posting (above), Ben Ketai seems to be basing his hopes of another season on the Netflix audience’s feedback. It’s encouraging to see his show make it onto the Top 10 Hit Shows List. If the show is renewed, we can probably expect to see Season 4 of “StartUp”. sometime after mid-2022.
