The Royal Rumble is very special. I’ve always thought about it declared Sheamus. Only a few superstars have had the privilege of winning a Royal Rumble. It is a really difficult match to win. It really takes a lot of skills. I have participated in many editions where I have had some good and bad moments.
I think last year’s edition, when Drew McIntyre won, was probably the best and most exciting Royal Rumble I’ve seen in a long time. It was an exciting match for Drew to start his way to WrestleMania. I’ve already won a Royal Rumble. and I have nothing to prove to anyone, Sheamus declared.
Sheamus was the winner of the 2012 Royal Rumble edition, after entering 22nd place and eliminating Chris Jericho as the last fighter. Sheamus decided to face Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania XXVIII and defeated him to win the World Heavyweight Championship.
