In September of last year, the Wrestle Votes media speculated that WWE decided not to renew the contract of a superstar, who would be waiting for his agreement to expire to leave. The south account-related this news to Ricochet, but he denied these statements.

We recently posted a piece of information from Bryan Alvarez from Wrestling Observer, who allegedly mentioned on his radio show that the contract Ricochet signed in 2018 was for three years. Apparently, this information is not correct, since Alvarez did not affirm at any time that this was the case.

Ricochet himself used social networks to deny the news, which originated from the Ringside News news portal. This is fake Ricochet wrote on Twitter referring to the news published in that medium. In fact, Bryan Alvarez himself denied the news taking advantage of the publication of the tweet and Ricochet’s response.

Dave Meltzer, a journalist for the Wrestling Observer, has posted an update on this matter in his weekly newsletter. According to Meltzer Ricochet signed a 5-year extension with WWE in 2019, which means that the current agreement will expire in the summer of 2024 and not in 2021, as had been speculated in recent hours. Since it created controversy, Ricochet’s contract with WWE expires in the summer of 2024, Meltzer stated. He signed a five-year contract when he moved to the main roster.
