Physical’s Season 1 finale is Friday on Apple TV+. Annie Weisman’s half-hour dramedy has been renewed to Season 2.
Rose Byrne stars in Sheila, who is a woman suffering from bulimia in the 1980s. Sheila then rises to become a household star and an aerobics video star when her husband runs for a local office in San Diego. The series chronicles her incredible journey from a helpless, ignored enabler to a powerful and confident economic force. Sheila becomes a woman we now take for granted, but was completely radical back then – the female lifestyle expert.
Friday’s finale, titled Let’s Get Together, features Sheila presenting an intriguing proposal as Bunny (Della Sava) and Tyler (Lou Taylor Pucci), come to a head.
Rory Scovel is joined by Dierdre Friel and Paul Sparks. Ashley Liao is also a star.
