Netflix’s teenage mystery drama series”Outer Banks” was first dropped on April 15, 2020, and was a massive success. It left the audience longing for more and thus it’s returning with another season!

Made by Josh Pate, Shannon Burke, and Jonas Pate this Netflix series thrilled the fans like never before. Hence following the release of the first Season in April 2020, Netflix ordered”Outer Banks” Season 2 on July 24, 2020, thus giving each of the fans a bit of relief!
Although even following its renewal, it required quite a long time for production to start because of the pandemic situation. Since the shoot was meant to be done outdoors, hence COVID-19 protocols turned into a large hurdle. But soon after the production began in exotic locations like the Bahamas and in a few months they wrapped up the shoot.
As per reports, the shoot ended on April 2021, and also the post-production activities for the upcoming season are from the process. Lately one of the celebrities of the show Johnny Alonso, Netflix is planning to launch the upcoming season in summer 2021. So it feels like July 2021 appears to a perfect time for the release of”Outer Banks” Season two!
“Outer Banks” Season 2: Plot
The show superbly depicts the class divide in a coastal town of the Outer Banks. It talks about two classes, Kooks and Pogues who belong from two parts of the society where Kooks function as rich one and Pogues function as working class.
It basically focuses on the teenagers of both divisions. The story begins when the Pogues ring leader John B’s father goes missing. His abrupt disappearance causes chaos in the group. John B decides to go on a quest to locate his father as well as the reason behind his disappearance and that is when his adventure begins.
His pursuit isn’t that simple because the Kooks are always in a wake to trouble them. The former season left us with the Pogues having amazing discoveries. We also observed the blooming relationship between Sarah, a woman from the Kooks, and John B.
However, as anticipated her father was dead against this connection and framework John B in false cases. The prior seasons left us with John B and Sarah surviving a tropical storm while everybody was assuming that they had been dead.
So the upcoming season will mainly shed light on how John B will prove his innocence and also will Sarah’s father finally approve of the relationship? Let us wait patiently for”Outer Banks” Season 2 to find out.
