The release of Monster Musume Season 2 has been confirmed by the makers but no official release date has been issued for the series. The series is expected to release in 2021 because of the pandemic.
Monster Musume Plot:
The plot of Monster Musume is rather a distinctive one. Apparently, the Japanese government had known the existence of mythical creatures such as centaurs, harpies, mermaids, lamias and the other fabulous beasts. Three years prior to the events of the show, the government passed the Interspecies Cultural Exchange Act, thereby acknowledging their existence to the human society. Hence the monsters and humans thrive to live together in harmony. With this context, the show follows the quest of Kimihito Kurusu.
Despite not volunteering for the Interspecies Cultural Exchange Act, a single mistake, lands Miia on Kimihito’s doorstep. Miia is half-human and half-snake but he can’t seem to turn her down. Soon other dazzling monsters also start living with Kimihito.
