Season five of Money Heist is finally on the way, even if you are still reeling from the finale of the fourth season. Netflix announced the new season in July 2020. The tagline was “The Heist will End.” Hmm, that sounds pretty bleak. The official synopsis says: “The gang had been in hiding at the Bank of Spain over 100 hours. They managed to rescue Lisbon but now their darkest hour is upon them after they lost one of their own. Sierra has captured Professor, and for the first time, he doesn’t have an escape strategy.
“Just when it seems impossible to go wrong, an opponent appears that is far more powerful than any they’ve faced before: the army. The end is fast approaching the greatest heist in human history. And what began as a simple robbery will soon become a war.

Who will star in Money Heist season 5?
Netflix has confirmed that Money Heist season 4, which aired from April 4 to May 5, will feature some of its original cast. Ursula Corbero portrays Tokyo. Alvaro Morte portrays El Profesor. Itziar Ituno returns as Itchiar Ituno. Jaime Lorente as Esther Acebo, Darko Pic, Darko Lorente, Esther Acebo, and Enrique Arce returns for season 5.
When will Money Heist season 5 be on Netflix?
The greatest fictional heist in human history will be ended in two installments of five episodes each. Volume 1 will come out on September 3, and Volume 2 on December 3, 2021.
Alex Pina, creator, and showrunner said that when the show began writing Part 5, it was during the pandemic. He added, “We felt that we had the opportunity to make some changes to the ten-episode series. We also used every tool in our arsenal to create the feeling of a series or season finale in the second volume.”
“We decided to work within an extremely aggressive genre, which put The Gang on their feet. Volume 2 is more focused on the emotional condition of the characters. It is a journey through their sentimental map, which connects us directly to the characters’ departure.
