On the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, Mickie James appeared on the show as a guest legend and had a brief cameo with Angel Garza, Tatanka, and Sgt. Slaughter.
James’ appearance as part of the legends raised questions
about his current status with WWE as some assumed that he might have been quietly moved to the legend roster. According to the Inside, The Ropes portal Mickie James is still an active fighter and part of the main roster of the company and although she is still fit to fight WWE has not reserved any future fight for her.
In addition, Mickie James herself had declared a few days ago that she did not feel part of a legend since she is far from ending her career and ready to fight again in the ring.
On the Monday Night RAW episode of September 14, 2020, Mickie faced Asuka for the Red Brand Women’s Championship. Said bout came to an abrupt halt when James was being subjected to an Asuka Lock due to the referee taking care of an alleged concussion of the former champion. However, Mickie’s last fight was on September 21, when she lost to Zelina Vega.
