NBC’s supernatural drama series Manifest was distributed by Warner Bros. The mystery of mystery reoccurring in the lives of passengers aboard a flight that went missing five years ago is the theme of the series. The original six-season contract was for the show. NBC decided to cancel the series due to a continuing decline in ratings from its first season.

According to Deadline, NBC (and Netflix) and the creators of the show are currently discussing the possibility that the gang could be brought back for a second season. There have been times in the past where NBC reversed its decision. The network brought back an extra season of Timeless. Netflix also revived NBC’s Lucifer following its cancellation, and FOX saved Brooklyn Nine-Nine thanks to fans. The show may be revived.

Manifest Season 4 Release Date

The release date for Season 4 has yet to be announced. The sci-fi drama topped Netflix’s streaming charts and fans are now hopeful that Season 4 may be the show’s return.

Season 3 Episode 3: Michaela (a police officer) rescues Angelina, who was being held captive by her religious parents. Angelina was then rescued by Michaela, a police officer. She was part of a group called doomsday preppers who believed Ben was a precursor to the apocalypse.

In season 3’s finale, Angelina kidnapped Grace and Ben’s daughter Eden. Angelina believed Eden to be her guardian angel. She then attacked Grace, stabbing her to death, and fleeing with the child. Grace was murdered by Flight 828 survivors. This ended in Season 3.

Wait, I Thought Manifest Was Cancelled?

Technically it was. The show was canceled on June 14, 2021, by NBC. Cast contracts expiring the next day meant that the network decided to cancel the show at the last minute. This was also surprising to some of the newer Netflix Top 10 viewers as the show was viewed more than ever.
