American crime drama series Magnum P.I may return for a fourth season on the CBS Network. The show is a reboot of the classic 1980’s series of the same name and was Donald P. Bellisario and Glen A. Larson created it. Peter M. Lenkov and Eric Guggenheim are the developers of the latest series and it first aired on September 24, 2018. Its latest season 3 aired was renewed on May 2020 and aired on 4th December 2020. The show has a below-average rating of 5.8/ 10 on the IMDB’s website and a rating of 57% by Rotten Tomatoes. But the show has a fan following regarding its ever so charming cast and twist-filled plot.
Release Date
The makers of the show have as of now not announced or cancelled season 4 of the show. However, as the show just aired last month, the announcement for a new season is difficult to predict.
What Is The Show All About?
The reboot is on similar lines as the original. The show revolves around an Afghanistan return former Navy SEAL named Thomas Magnum. He lives in a mansion named Robin’s Nest which belongs to a billionaire novelist named Robin Masters, a character who is not revealed on the show. The mansion is shared by Robin’s majordomo, Juliet Higgins. She is a former MI6 agent who initially bickers about Magnum but later becomes his partner and love interest. They solve cases together. Magnum also has ex- Marine officers as partners who solve cases with him, Orville “Rick” Wright and Theodore “TC” Calvin. The whole team helps the Hawaiian police solve cases that are unsolvable for them. Every episode explores different cases they come across to solve.
