Although fans were very much looking forward to Gotham season 6, the previous season finale showed Gotham after a span of time that concluded the origin story leaving no room for further plot extension. Therefore, fans are suggested not to wait for the completion of the sixth season.
Gotham Season 5 left almost no questions or cliffhangers in the finale. Therefore, the creators of the series are not in the mood for another season. Fox already revealed during the Season 5 renewal that it would be the last or final season, consisting of 12 episodes.
There are another vital reason why fans should give us their hope for Gotham season 6. When the season 5 finale ended, the series scored a total of 100 episodes. Therefore, there is no possibility of another season.
On the other hand, Gotham producer Bruno Heller is reflecting on something else . They are planning a series based on Batman’s butler Alfred Pennyworth. The series is titled Pennyworth. It will be released in July this year. Pennyworth will be seen following in the footsteps of Gotham actor Sean Pertwee.
