Reigning NXT World Champion Finn Balor was recently a guest on WWE’s After The Bell. Balor revealed that his dream would be to defend the NXT title at this year’s Wrestlemania. He also stated that it is open to doing so on either night, even both.

For me personally, if I could defend the NXT World Championship one night one of the nights of WrestleMania 37, it would be like a dream. Also, I empathize with Carrion Kross a lot as he had to give up the title because he was injured. I feel like that he deserves a title shot, be it at WrestleMania or a TakeOver, said Finn Balor.

At this time, there has been no official news about the holding of an NXT TakeOver event before WrestleMania 37, although there would still be time to announce it, WWE seems to be focused on celebrating the company’s great show again in two nights, 10 and April 11, 2021.

Finn Balor Would Have Started A Rivalry With Adam Cole

After retaining the NXT World Championship in the Takeover: Vengeance Day special against Pete Dunne, Finn Bálor was attacked by Dunne himself and NXT Tag Team champions Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan. After that, The Undisputed Era went to the save but Adam Cole attacked both Bálor and Kyle O’Reilly. On last week’s NXT show, he attacked Finn again and posed with his title.
