When I try to connect my VisualAge Enterprise Edition workspace to my newly installed team repository,I get a "Lock violation" error. What's wrong?

When you install emsrv and copy the intial repository file (ivj.dat) to your host mahcine from the CD, thefile has its "read-only" flag set (all files on a CD do). The lock violation is a result of emsrv thinking someother process has locked the repository file. You have to remove the "read-only" setting from thefile before emsrv can access it.
