I've heard that the Sun JDBC-ODBC bridge driver is buggy. Are there any commercial alternatives?

Alex Chaffee Yes, it is buggy, specifically in support for multithreaded access.
Sun keeps a list of commercial JDBC drivers. Go to http://industry.java.sun.com/products/jdbc/drivers, select "ODBC" from the "Supported DBMS" list, and click "Search".
