How can one use the ResourceBundle class in an applet to retrieve locale specific information over the Internet?

John Zukowski

Resource bundle files are located relative to the codebase of the applet. For instance, if you place the applet files into a JAR file, and ask for a bundle with ResourceBundle.getBundle("TrainingLabelsBundle", locale); from the applet, you would place the TrainingLabelsBundle_* files in the same directory as a JAR file. They don't have to be in the JAR file.

The Internationalization documentation that comes with the JDK includes some guidelines that may prove helpful.
