Elite Season 4 Release Date

Netflix greenlit the show for a fourth season in January 2020. On May 22, 2020, months after the premiere of season 3, the streaming giant formally announced the renewal. After much speculation from fans, the system revealed the premiere date of the upcoming season. ‘Elite’ season 4 will premiere in its entirety on June 18, 2021, on Netflix.

Filming for its fourth season began on August 3, 2020, and following a minor setback by some misleading test reports, the creation of the season wrapped up from the end of December. Fans have more reasons to rejoice since the network formally confirmed the show’s return for a fifth installment back in February 2021, and production began immediately. Thus, we may safely expect the fifth time to hit the screens sometime in 2022.

Elite Season 4 Cast: Who Is In It?

The fourth season adds a ton of new actors and actresses to the group, whereas it marks the departure of some familiar faces. Among ordinary cast members, Itzan Escamilla will look as Samuel, Miguel Bernardeau will take up the function of Guzmán, Arón Piper will reprise the part of Ander Muñoz, Omar Ayuso will essay the personality of Omar Shanaa, and Claudia Salas will perform the part of Rebeka. Moreover, Georgina Amorós will portray the personality of Cayetana, alongside Mina El Hammani, who’ll have a guest appearance in the role of Nadia before making her exit.

Elite Season 4 Plot: What Is It About?

The bittersweet ending of the third season struck a chord with many of the fans. In a significant highlight from the season finale, it is shown in a flashback which Lu is the accidental man of Polo, but she gets away scot-free because her friends cover for her. They figure out how to put Polo’s very own fingerprints on the bottle, which makes it look like a case of suicide. At the close of the episode, Lu and Nadia opt to continue their studies in New York, also Malick follows.

Nadia and Guzman promise to not be apart. In a different development, Omar’s father finally acknowledges his sexual identity in public. His rift with Ander is also extended a closure since they make amends in the airport, and Omar decides to return. Additionally, Rebeka finds her voice and finally faces her mother. After being expelled, Samuel, Guzman, and Rebeka are allowed to continue their study at the elite academy. The final scene sees Cayetana mopping the floor as the class difference between her and other students are made clear.

The summer holidays are over, and the new season will take us back to Las Encinas for a new session. We’ll see some exciting new developments at school. Wealthy businessman Benjamin Blanco Commerford will take the directorial duties, expecting to reinstate the college back into its golden days. He’ll bring his three teenaged kids along with him, Patrick, Ari, and Mencia. However, with the new children on the campus, things won’t be the same anymore.

Understandably, a clash between the new and old fractions of the students will ensue. It’ll bring to test the old bonds of love and friendship while offering a way to new adventures and conflicts between social classes. There’ll also be a mystery element keeping semblance into the previous seasons, and while one unfortunate person will take the hit, others would reveal they’re true identities.
