Despite its short duration – just 35 seconds – the preview of the most anticipated of the original Amazon Prime Video series can only leave us wanting more. In it El Internado: Las Cumbres opens its doors to show us a quick summary of what is to come: a fast-paced mystery story that takes place in a chilling setting, on top of a hill and completely removed from the world.
As has been revealed about the successor to the unforgettable Antena 3 series, El Internado: Las Cumbres will take us to a boarding school located next to an old monastery, located in a practically inaccessible place between the mountains. The students who study there are problematic boys and girls in constant observation and among a great discipline who have been referred there to reintegrate into society. The forest that surrounds the place is home to ancient and terrifying legends, but also threats that are still valid today and that will quickly lead the protagonists to live a most dangerous adventure.
The 8-episode series stars Asia Ortega , Albert Salazar, Daniel Arias, Daniela Rubio, Claudia Riera, Paula del Río, Gonzalo Díez, Carlos Alcaide, Sara Balerdi and Francisca Aronsson, who will incarnate the students.
