A 132-page court document written by Judge Andrew Nicol, who was part of the lawsuit filed by Johnny Depp against The Sun in 2018, reveals that the ex-actor from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them tried to use his influences to withdraw Amber Heard, his ex-wife, the role of Mera in the film Aquaman.

The Hollywood Reporter magazine released an excerpt from the archive containing a message that Johnny Depp sent to producer Christi Dembrowski, who is his sister and worked at Warner Bros. at the time of the film’s production.

He clearly said in all his lyrics: “I want it replaced in the Warner Bros. film.”

When he was in court over the lawsuit he filed against The Sun, Johnny Depp had no problem admitting that the message was about Aquaman.

After the scandals involving the names of the two actors, Johnny Depp fans also demanded that Amber Heard be fired for Aquaman production, however, in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Johnny Depp’s ex-wife denied all rumors that she would not be following the DC Comics film.

“ I’m super excited about the amount of love and appreciation from the fans that Aquaman has won; this generated as much enthusiasm as Aquaman and Mera which means that we will be back, ”she said. Although there is still no official confirmation, the Aquaman 2 sequel is expected to be released in the year 2022.

Johnny Depp sued the English newspaper The Sun after he was called a “female beater” by the media in 2018.

The suit was tried, and recently, in November 2020, Judge Andrew Nicol ruled that the domestic violence charges being brought against Depp were “substantially true”.

“I found that the vast majority of Mr. Depp’s alleged assaults against Mrs. Heard were proven according to civilian standards,” said the judge, who won the case.8

After the judge’s decision, the actor was fired from the production of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
