WWE announced the termination of the contract of former Forgotten Sons member Steve Cutler. According to various media rumors, Vince McMahon was extremely upset when he learned that Cutler contracted COVID-19 at a New Year’s Eve partyy as he had promised several superstars including Roman Reigns a safe work environment. McMahon’s annoyance led to the cancellation of Baron Corbin’s team The Knights Of The Lone Wolf and the subsequent firing of Cutler.
His girlfriend, Impact Wrestling Champion Knockouts Deonna Purrazzo, who initially confirmed that she and Steve tested positive for COVID-19 in early January, wrote several Tweets to disprove some of the rumors about Cutler’s firing

I understand that many people get angry about going to a party in the middle of a pandemic but many other people did too and showed up for work the next day without anyone telling them anything. In my case, I was at a party with people with whom I spent the whole year and they were examined every week. The worst-case scenario happened. Once we found out, we took all necessary precautions and quarantined ourselves. Items that imply otherwise are fake.
