Dean Ambrose’s name has been trademarked in WWE Books for many years, but it expired this year. WWE had an opportunity to regain it once in August but it could not happen. The USPTO gave him a chance to renew, but then WWE made up his mind to go against it.
For the time being, the WWE has now decided to take the name once again. Now WWE has applied for this name on 8 October. The application by WWE is now registered in the USPTO database.
The report by Wrestling News reported that WWE asked John Moxley (Dean Ambrose) whether he would sign the trademark form. According to USPTO, this name is not with anyone at this time and it will go to someone only after the renewal.
