‘Dead to me’ is a tragic comedy or “traumedy” as the makers call it, a Netflix series created by Liz Feldman and executively produced by Feldman, Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, and Jessica Elbaum. The show makers have announced a third and final season for the same in July, 2020. The series premiered on Netflix on 8th May, 2020 and has an IMDB rating of 8/10. The show has received a good critical acclaim especially for the characters of Jen Harding (Christina Applegate) and Judy Hale (Linda Cardellini)

The Plot
The story is about two women who meet at grief therapy and share a great bonding with one another. Jen is a real estate agent who lost her husband Ted to a car accident and is devastated. She is grieving, cynical and blunt in nature and is excessively depressed. She has been trying many techniques to deal with her loss such as exercise, therapy etc. On the other hand, Judy is mourning the loss of her fiancé to a heart attack. She is a free spirited and carefree person. The opposite personalities of the women make their friendship blossom. But, Jen has a dark secrets hidden. It is revealed that Jen was behind the wheel of the car that killed Ted. In fact her fiancé Steve is still alive and she is separated from him.
After Judy tells Jen that she was the one behind Ted’s car crash, their friendship implodes. Judy asks Jen if there is anything she can do, to which Jen replies “You can die.”
Season 3 of the black comedy is likely to take off from the ending of the second season in which Jen and Judy where involved in a car crash by Ben and wake up in a hospital.
Dead To Me Release Date
After the dramatic cliffhanger, fans of the show are eagerly awaiting the next season.
There are speculations that ‘Dead to me’ final Season 3 will release in May 2021 as the previous season had aired in May 2019 and 2020 respectively.
