Better Call Saul Season 5 (the previous season) aired via AMC from February 23rd, 2020. It is believed that it will be aired for about ten episodes through April 20th, 2020. The sixth season premiered on January 16, 2020, only a few months before the fifth. The next cycle of the popular crime drama has been promoted to be it’s last. Even though the series had been given the green light at 2020’s start, the crew and cast couldn’t start production due to problems related to Coronavirus. Peter Gould who was also the show’s co-creator, posted on social media that filming had begun for the sixth series. Filming for the sixth season is expected to take place over eight months. That means there might not yet be any new episodes available in 2021.

Bob Odenkirk’s (Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman/Gene Takovic), health condition in July 2021 could lead to more delays. Taken all this into account, the premiere of season 6 on ‘Better Call Saul’ could be in 2022. In this situation, the show would air on its regular schedule. The seasons are generally released between February & April each year except season 4, which was premiered in August 2018. According to reports, the next season will include 13 episodes. This would make it the longest series in the show’s history.
