One of the names that are going to be talked about the most in the coming days is none other than David Alaba who perfectly sums up the economic moments of each other. The Austrian has broken with Bayern and although he will not leave the Bavarian club in this market he will set a trend in what the greats of Spanish football can or cannot do. His future seems to go through Real Madrid a club capable of assuming an operation for months to come, something that Barcelona cannot do.

From MARCA we have been reporting in the last two months about the movements of the European champion defender and his more than possible target. Pini Zahavi the Austrian agent, did his job and offered the possibility of the signing of Alaba to several top European clubs. Some showed interest others studied the operation and some had to resign, despite the aforementioned Alaba’s taste for the game.

In the first two cases, we can include Real Madrid, a club that is waiting to close the signing of Alaba. The sports management gave the ok on arrival, while the economic management saw the operation possible. The opposite case is that of Barcelona. Pini Zahavi spoke with the Barca leaders, who made him reach the interest, but when they knew the numbers that were being handled they had to say no to the operation. Barcelona is looking for a central defender and has focused on the battle to recover Eric Garcia a player for the future and who also ends his contract with Manchester City but with an economic reality very far from what Alaba intends to win a player they have wanted but to that have not been able to arrive.

Real Madrid is also looking, facing next season, to reinforce the defense, both the central position and the side. The market and the lack of agreement between Bayern and Alaba put the possibility on a plate and the Madrid leaders have not doubted it. PSG and Manchester United are also fighting for the signing, but the defender has always said that he would like to play in LaLiga and Real Madrid is willing to please his wish.
