- Roman Reigns attacked his own brother Jay Uso at SmackDown this week.
- Know what was the performance of superstars in SmackDown this week?
This week the WWE SmackDown show proved to be quite interesting for the fans and let me tell you, this week, Kevin Owens and Universal champion Roman Reigns appeared in action at the main event of the SmackDown show. Let me tell you, at the show’s main event, The Big Dog teamed up with his cousin Jay Uso while fighting matches against Kevin Owens and Otis.
Also during SmackDown this week, two major title matches were announced for WWE’s next PPV TLC. Let me tell you, Roman Reigns is going to defend his Universal Title in the Table, Ladders and Chairs match against Kevin Owens in TLC PPV. At the same time, in another title match, Sasha Banks is going to defend her SmackDown Women’s Title against Carmella.
In this article, we are going to mention 2 such superstars who proved to be a flop in this week’s show and 3 superstars who impressed.
1- Roman Reigns impressed at SmackDown

Roman Reigns started SmackDown this week with an interview segment and continued to downplay host Kayla Branxton during this time. After this, Reigns also stressed himself on J Uso and told himself to be responsible for the push he was getting. Soon, Kevin Owens also arrives, following which Roman Reigns is seen teaming up with Jay Uso in the show’s main event, fighting against Kevin Owens and Otis.
Roman arrived late for the match and taking advantage of this, Owens and Otis attacked Jay Uso. The Big Dog then assisted his cousin by making an entry, however, when Roman asked for a tag from Uso in the last moments of the match, he refused to give the tag. Roman then angrily got into the ring and held Owens into submission, which led to the match ending in disqualification.
Roman then also beat Jay Uso fiercely for not accepting his order and it will be interesting to see what changes are going to happen in the relationship of these two brothers in the coming times.
1- Bayley proved to be a flop in SmackDown
Bayley faced Natalia at SmackDown this week and Bianca Belair was also present on the commentary team. Bayley was arguing with Bianca intermittently during this match but her performance in this match was very poor and that is why Natalia managed to win the match.
It looks like WWE is going to start a feud between Bayley and Bianca Blair soon so they will have to avoid booking former SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley as a weak superstar.
2- Kevin Owens impressed at SmackDown
Kevin Owens challenged Roman Reigns to SmackDown last week, and this week he challenged Tribal Chiefs to a title match at TLC PPV. Although The Big Dog did not listen to him, WWE has confirmed the TLC PPV to be a Universal Championship match between these two superstars.
In the show’s main event, Roman hit Otis so badly that he did not appear in action throughout the match. However, Kevin fell alone in this match against Roman and Jay Uso but despite this, he single-handedly faced Roman and Uso.
2- Murphy proved to be a flop in SmackDown
Murphy’s performance in Smackdown this week was not as bad but he had a poor booking during the match against Corbin this week. During last week’s show, Murphy managed to defeat Corbyn with the help of the Mysterio family, but on this week’s show, he lost the match in an attempt to save the Mysterio family from being beaten by Corbin’s backup.
3- Jay Uso impressed everyone at SmackDown
It would not be wrong to say that J Uso has benefited greatly since Roman Reigns came along. It is worth noting that Roman Reigns talks about Unity but he always cares about himself. At the same time, Jay Uso on the other hand is helping the Tribal Chief in dominating SmackDown but despite this Roman is not happy with them.
At SmackDown this week too, Jay Uso tried to impress Roman with things in his hand, but Roman did not like Uso’s actions and attacked him. J Uso is very much in this role and it will be interesting to see how he is going to be booked in the coming time.
