How can I add third party libraries to NetBeans for use within my applications/projects?

Byron Tymvios

Under the 'Tools' menu on the menubar you will find an option named 'Library Manager'. Inside the 'Library Manager' you are able to add new libraries, give them a descriptive name and enter the path to the jar file(s). Once this is setup you can add libraries to your projects by selecting 'Libraries' from the project properties window and choosing the 'Add Library' button. Choose the library you require and it will be avilable in your project.
