In his copious spare time, John co-authored Making Sense of Java:
A Guide for Managers and the Rest of Us in addition to creating
the Java Tips 'n' Tricks and the Java Questions & Answers columns
for JavaWorld magazine, where he also served on the advisory board.
He moderates several Java-related FAQ areas on jGuru.com and two
newsgroups, comp.lang.tcl.announce and comp.binaries.geos.
