Variously as employee, officer, consultant, and principal of his
own company, John has invested the last thirteen years at the
cutting edge: Java technology, compilers, interpreters, web-based
applications, Internet commerce. He has developed software
solutions at industry-leading companies, and has advised and
educated both investors and developers.
In his copious spare time, John co-authored Making Sense of Java:
A Guide for Managers and the Rest of Us in addition to creating
the Java Tips 'n' Tricks and the Java Questions & Answers columns
for JavaWorld magazine, where he also served on the advisory board.
He moderates several Java-related FAQ areas on jGuru.com and two
newsgroups, comp.lang.tcl.announce and comp.binaries.geos.
John's exceptional clarity in understanding technology and
effectiveness in applying it amid today's wildly dynamic global
markets grows out of inimitable breadth and depth of experience,
coupled with a passion for achieving the highest quality and value.
