Dear All, We are running a web based application with the following specification. Linux , WAS 5.1 Fix pack 12, Db2 8.1 (DB is in a seperate server). The number of users using the app is 400 + and concurrent will be around 50 +. The min heap size set is 256, and max is 1 GB. The server has 4 GB of RAM and 100 GB harddisk. When i start my app, it starts with a RSS value of 350M and it keeps increasing as numbers of users start using the application. It will never decrease and when it is reaching a state of 1.8 G, WAS stops on its own and application crash. When we do a restart, it will again start from 350 M and keeps increasing. The application is not used 24*7 and after 8:00 PM till there will be hardly any users in the system. I have enabled the GC in verbose mode an   More>>

The application is not used 24*7 and after 8:00 PM till there will be hardly any users in the system. I have enabled the GC in verbose mode and could see no out of memory and no issues faced by GC in freeing the memory. The statistics always returns that GC is able to free 70% of memory all the times (it varies between 65 % - 75 %). We do not have any static huge Hash Maps loaded in to memory and i am wondering to get a solution for this. Please help !!!!!!!!!!!!
