I need a basic example of how to set up and invoke a JNI call to get the current CPU utilization in NT.

I also heard that Windows NT perfmon stores all the performance data in the registry, so presumably if one knew the right keys one could query the registry and get the same. So, the question is, is that the case and what are the keys ?

Thanks for your help.

Regarding the performance data, an article appeared in the Microsoft Systems Journal describing how to access and interpret this data. The article can be found here.
