I have a problem while sending mails. The situation is like this.I am originating a mail to abc@abc.com(for example)for which I am using our internal mail server. The mail server will send to abc@abc.com.But here I have a problem. If the recipient's email-id is wrong , then mail server will not forward the mail. But how my application will come to know that whether the mail server has not forwared this mail or not? right now I am catching exception whenever any problem occurs. But that is not sufficient. What technology should I use to solve this problem. Is there any class/methods in Java Mail API? Please help me out.
Thanks in advance

The Approach ur r using is correct , catch the Exception and in the Exception u can write some business logic that will let u know the problem has occured, perhaps just send email to u..mentioning that..abc@abc.com address was failed to reach the recipient
