I am very new to Servlets,

I am using RequestDispatcher to send the information from a servlet to a jsp page,

There is no problem in forwarding the information from the servlet to jsp, but in the Address Bar of IE, it shows me the address of the Servlet rather than the JSP address.

How can i solve this problem,

Is there any other solution????

This behaviour occurs because the request forward is completely serverside.

If you really want the JSP url in your page bar, you can have the client redirect to the JSP, but this makes it difficult to pass parameters from the servlet to the JSP,
and an extra client-to-server call is needed, which will degrade performance significantly.

Is there any particular reason you want the url of the JSP in your menu bar?
