Hi,

I want to write a java application that can simulate a user working on the browser.


i.e. the application will invoke the home page enter user name, password and then click some links on the next page.


I know how to invoke the url using the java.net apis but i don't how to simulate the user's entering data and following the hyperlinks.

Good Luck.

If the browser is HotJava. You have a snowballs chance in
Hades. If not. Then forget it. It simply is not
possible because with IE you would need to make
ActiveX API calls in order to do what you want
to do. If it's Netscape, I have no idea where
to begin.

Sorry pal. The only thing that may be of any use is
if the forms you wish to fill out are java forms, check the Robot class in SDK 1.4.1.
