How do I generate Value Objects with XDoclet 1.1.2 ? It doesn't seem to work with the samples provided.

I'm trying to build the samples provided with the XDoclet 1.1.2 distribution.

Everything seems to work except for the value object generation. The entity beans do include tags which appear to specify that value objects should be created.

For example, AccountBean.java contains the tag :

@ejb:value-object name="Account" match="*" instantiation="eager"

I can't find anywhere in the documentation for XDoclet that describes the use of this tag - can anyone hep me out ?

Heh, I also had to suffer with that one. Just add the subtask inside the tag in the build.xml file.

valuobject is the latest and great value object generation subtask provided by xdoclet. It has more options than the old subtask. Unfortunately in 1.1.2 it's not documented, but the samples are very easy to understand.
