problems running tomcat4

Hi im installed tomcat4 rpm (full), jdk 1.4 (full) i export the JAVA_HOME path. but when i start tomcat and says OK i cant access the localhost:8080 and there's no such process with the name tomcat4 also the messages logs says that tomcat4 startup correctly and the catalina.log says: /usr/bin/dtomcat4: ls /usr/java/j2sdk1.4.0_01/bin/java: No such file or directo$ thank you for any help runing on linux redhat 7.2 Please use html tags to format code blocks.    More>>

It seems that you have problem with setting the JAVA_HOME envirenment variable .
Did you set the JAVA_HOME in /etc/profile.local or /etc/profile instead of just exporting it?
