I have written a server in java programming language. And of course, it includes some classes. How can I replace some of the classes and force the server to use these new classes if I make some updates later on? I do not intend to stop and start the server. I want to make the update while the server is running.

To make this clear, I have to say that the server creates new instance of these classes on a regular bases. I want to force the server to create a new instance of this new class the next time around.

Thanks

java.net.URLClassLoader class may be of help. Classes which are expected to change may be put in a separate jar/directory and accessed using URLClassLoader.
