Rebuilding jars in the IDEA classpath

I have a project that is composed of multiple jars. I also use the integrated JUnit feature, so I have to put some of the jar files on my classpath to get everything to run. The problem is that I can't rebuild the jar file because IDEA puts some sort of lock on the jar file.

Is there a way around this?

Actually, I found a quick and dirty solution. I added the scratch dir where I store the incremental class files that are used to create the jars. Should be OK as long as don't do a clean build and try to delete the scratch dir.
