How can I save 001 from jsp in excel format ?

When I tried to save report in excel the numeric value get changed,say if i have 0100 as mydata in report then what is saved in excel file is 100.How can I correct it ?

My second question is ,if I save my reports in msword then the saved report also show table border.how can I hide the table border while saving reports in msword.

The excel file by default formats to integer when you set the content type to csv so it hides the preceeding zero. You can view the excel file and go to the column and change the column format to general then you can view the preceeding zero. Or use the JExcel package which is found on the web to pre fromat the excel before displaying it.
