I have a code in JavaMail for reading Mails. It is giving the following error : avax.mail.MessagingException: +OK Microsoft Exchange POP3 server version 5.5.2653.23 ready; nested exception is: com.sun.mail.iap.ConnectionException: +OK Microsoft Exchange POP3 server version 5.5.2653.23 ready at com.sun.mail.imap.IMAPStore.protocolConnect(IMAPStore.java:296) at javax.mail.Service.connect(Service.java:234) at webMail.ReadMail.readMail(ReadMail.java:31) at webMail.ReadMail.main(ReadMail.java:49) Exception in thread "main" Can u tell me the solution for this. its urgent.....    More>>

?? are you trying to make an IMAP protocol connection, to a POP3 server? are you using the wrong port, maybe, the POP3 port instead of the IMAP port? (your exception comes from an IMAP class, but the text seems to show a normal "OK" response from a POP3 server)
