Hi there,

I would need something like a 'finalize' target which is called by Ant when its process is terminated, e.g. for releasing resources purposes. Generally speaking, I would put there stuff that has to be done but where it doesn't matter when it is done.

Is there something like this?

Thanks a lot.

Chris

The standard way to do something when a build completes, either successfully or otherwise, is to attach a BuildListener to the Ant process. Check out Ant's Logger & Listener documentation for further information. Basically you write a Java class that implements Ant's BuildListener interface.
