Hi everybody

I am new in the java world, and I have a question that

maybe sounds stupid.

I have read that for calculations that involves money it
is better to use BigDecimal, but because of the performance and a lot stuff involving sistems I am planning
to use Long because I do not know how exactly works BigDecimal and what is the largest
amount it can keep

thanks

You can obtain the precise value of '10000!' (factorial) with java.math.BigDecimal class, for instance, without difficulty. It is the 35660 digit number.
