1.Why should or shouldnÂ’t Vector be used in Java
2.Should a getter that returns a collection of objects return a Collection, List, or ListIterator? Why?

Vector is default synchronized. So it uses more memory, if you dont need your collection being synchronizde use an ArrayList for example.

Vector is an old leftover from the original Java library design.
