Does any one know what are the protocols supported by Javamail for fetching e-mails? I know of IMAP and POP3 but I would like to know other supported provider protocols.

Thanks in Advance,
Vy

Sun includes providers for IMAP and POP for fetching mail and SMTP for sending. If you want to support another protocol, you need to find another provider. I've seen some like for NNTP and a local mbox store. Technically speaking, every protocol is supported. Supported being the key word there. You just have to find the implementation of the provider to use it, and if one isn't available, create it yourself. The support is already defined at the JavaMail level.
