I got a hold of John Zukowski's "Saving JEditorPane Rendered HTML to JPEG Output" at:

This is exactly what I want to do, so I tried to use his code samples which are supposed to work:

http://web.archive.org/web/20000826223811/http://java.about.com/compute/java/library/weekly/source/SaveIt.java

http://web.archive.org/web/20000826223811/http://java.about.com/compute/java/library/weekly/source/ImageSaver.java

However, these don't quite work for me. They parse the page and display it fine, but the output JPEG image is all gray. The images seems to be the right dimentions, so I know some of the paramaters are getting passed right, but just not the actual image data... or something like that.

I don't see anything wrong with his code, so I have no idea what's going on. Any ideas?
