How do I force a CORBA Server to use a specific port using Java 1.4 SDK?

For security reasons (firewall configuration) I need my CORBA Server to bind to the same port every time and not just some random TCP port as is the default behaviour.



I seem to recollect that setting the property org.omg.CORBA.ORBInitialPort would do the trick, but it does not.

If you are using visibroker for java, then use scm and set listener.port as your "specific port".
