What is the difference between calling yield(), sleep(), suspend(), resume(), wait(), notify() methods on a thread ?class?

Did you read the documentations, APIs, tutorials etc.. Try out javaworld tutorials, sun websites etc. They have really good tutorials. You could try out this threading tut from Sun...
