we are developing a product in that we have more than 60 ejb's and 300 jsp's.now all most from all jsp's we have lookups.

Jsp1 lookup the ejb1 and jsp1 forwards or action of jsp1 will be jsp2.in the jsp2 also we are lookup the same ejb1.this will be a performance issue.

please give me the solution and sample code to minimize these type of lookups.

how to use Handlers. can we improve the performance by using handlers. If yes How?

To start with you can implement a singleton class which caches EJB home objects. The first time a lookup on EJB home is done, it is performed by this class and then cached. Thereafter whichever JSP needs the same EJB, the cached home object is handed out.
