How to represent a forest in java.

My requirement is to load the Organization chart of a company from data base and store it in a DataStructure.

From the data structure I should be able to search the employees reporting to a Manager, the tree below a Manager,
the Managers to whom an employee is reporting.

Can somebody help please ???

Not sure what you mean by "forest".

Is this a singly rooted multi-level tree, where an employee has only one direct manager, a manager is an employee (and thus can have a manager), and there is one employee with NO manager (AKA the BIG BOSS)?

BTW, this sounds awfully like a class assignment - not that I'm sure that this isn't a valid form of research :)
