We have a large java application running under RedHat 7.2 and jdk1.3.1_03. It is runnung between 30 and 50 threads. This app is consumming much more data memory than expected. As far as I know, under the normal linux commands you cannot split out memory usage by thread. Is there any way I can determine how much memory each tread is using. We would like to code some sort of perl script or something to monitor the running system. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
